Beach Cockail Recipe: Mango Mojitos

Last Saturday, when my bestie Sarah was in town, we found ourselves looking for a refreshing summer drink to take with us to the beach. Refreshing cocktail plus beach chilling... it doesn't get much better than that, right? So we scoured Pinterest for ideas and decided on a delicious mango mojito recipe from Spicy Southern Kitchen, with a few twists of our own!

To make one mango mojito cocktail, you will need:

-3-4 mint leaves
-2 slices of mango
-1 lime wedge
-1 ounce of rum
-1 ounce of mango rum (or vodka)
-2 ounces of club soda
-1/2 ounce of simple syrup (we didn't use this)
-additional mango slices (recommended!)
-strawberry slices, for extra sweetness and flavor

You will also need a muddler, which is crucial to the first step of assembling this drink. The super easy directions are:

1. Place mint and mango slices in a glass and muddle. Squeeze lime wedge into the glass and then toss lime wedge into glass.
2. Add rums, club soda, and simple syrup. Add ice to fill glass.
3. Garnish with fresh mango slices, mint and strawberries.

Voila! An easy, delicious cocktail, perfect for beach hangouts and sunny summer days.
